Pastoral Care To The Homebound

Pastoral Care to the Homebound involves trained and commissioned Sacred Heart and St. Joseph parishioners visiting those who cannot attend Mass and receive Holy Communion. This can be on a short term basis, such as after a surgery or serious illness, or on a more long term basis. Parishioners are served in various living situations: assisted living facilities, rehabilitation center or private home.

To serve as a Pastoral Care Minister you must be a fully initiated Catholic in good standing and registered in the parish. Safe Environment training and a cleared background check are also required.

If you, a loved one, or another parishioner you know are unable to celebrate Mass with the parish community, Holy Communion can be brought to you. Please contact the parish office at 360-687-4515 to arrange regular visits.

St. Vincent de Paul

St. Vincent de Paul members provide emergency assistance to local residents. Our St. Vincent de Paul conference also assists the public with the annual Christmas gift and food basket distribution. Funding is provided primarily by contributions from Sacred Heart and St. Joseph parishioners through the St. Vincent de Paul envelopes in the monthly packets.

To participate in our St. Vincent de Paul Society, contact the parish office at 360-687-4515.

If you are in need of financial assistance please call 360-576-0122. Leave your contact information and a member of the St. Vincent de Paul conference will return your call as soon as possible.
