Who We Are

How We Help…

Many in North Clark County struggle every day to make ends meet. St. Vincent de Paul is there to help. We offer this help to all in need without regard to religious affiliation. Each year our conference helps over 100 families with essential services by offering direct payment to providers. Annually, we also provide Christmas Food Boxes to families who would otherwise go without.

Every day, Donations are used to:

  • Prevent evictions

  • Keep the lights and heat on

  • Provide essential food

  • Pay for gas and bus fare

  • Pay other necessary expenses

Our History....

The Society of St. Vincent de Paul was begun in Paris in 1833 by Blessed Frederic Ozanam. The first US conference started in St. Louis in 1845. Today 51,000 conferences worldwide serve the needs of over 14 million people providing $600 million in much needed services to the poorest of the poor.

Our Mission…

The St. Vincent De Paul Society is a Catholic lay organization inspired by gospel values. The Society leads men and women to join together to grow spiritually by offering person-to-person service to those who are needy and suffering in the same tradition as founder Blessed Frederic Ozanam and our patron St. Vincent de Paul.
